Overview

Region Jönköpings län runs the IT-centrum and is strengthening its data‑driven capabilities. We are looking for four development leaders in data transformation and storage, analysis & visualisation, governance & monitoring, and information architecture to build the region’s data capabilities.

Role: Development Leader – Data Transformation and Storage

As a Development Leader for data transformation and storage, you will play a central role in developing the region’s information services via integrations and data platforms to enable innovation and data‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Establish, coordinate, and further develop the region’s capability to collect, transform, integrate, store, and provide data from a variety of information sources.
• Ensure the organisation has modern, robust, and sustainable platforms, architectures, and practices for information supply, integration, data storage, and interoperability.
• Contribute to creating conditions for efficient, secure and future‑proof handling of information and data.

Qualifications

• University or college education in computer engineering, systems science, data science, IT/data architecture, or an equivalent combination of study and experience.
• Documented experience in data architecture, integration and data platforms, with a solid understanding of how these areas create business value.
• Ability to work in complex organisations, close to leadership and decision makers, and to create engagement, build shared vision, and translate strategic goals into sustainable work‑methods and tangible results.
• Initiative-driven, autonomous, and development-oriented; structured, solution-focused, thriving in change, and able to drive momentum even under uncertainty.
• Strong collaboration skills, building trustworthy relationships, and fostering an open and inclusive culture in which dialogue, knowledge sharing and joint responsibility are integral.
