Job summary

Resurs Bank Aktiebolag is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and scale of our modern data platform as part of our Nordic cloud transformation. You will build end-to-end data pipelines using AWS, collaborating with data scientists, analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering scalable data solutions in cloud environments.
• Strong AWS data services proficiency (ECS, S3, Athena).
• Advanced SQL and modern data warehouse concepts; dbt experience.
• Hands-on IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Python for data processing and pipeline development.
• Experience with data orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow).
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated industries.

As we continue our exciting cloud transformation journey, we're looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our modern data platform from the ground up. You'll be essential in creating the data foundation that powers decision-making across our business and drives innovation in Nordic financial services.

We offer a hybrid remote work solution within Sweden, with occasional visits to our HQ in Helsingborg.

Essential experience:

• A proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions in cloud environments
• Strong expertise with AWS data services (ECS, S3, Athena, and related services)
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouse architectures, optimization techniques, and transformation tools like dbt
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CDK, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Python skills for data processing and pipeline development
• Experience with data orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow, or similar)
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated industries

Nice to have:

• Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated financial industries
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and serverless architectures
• Background in agile development methodologies and DataOps practices
