Job summary

QESTIT in Sweden is seeking a proactive technical tester who thrives on both manual and automated testing and is eager to grow across business areas. You will work with clients as a consultant, focusing on end-to-end quality and efficient task delivery.

You will use Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, and Selenium, perform exploratory testing, and push for root cause analysis. Offices are in Gothenburg, Malmö and Stockholm, with a collaborative, curious culture and strong emphasis on skill development.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing using Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, and Selenium.
• In manual testing, execute test cases and exploratory testing.
• In automation, contribute to validation and testing efforts.
• Dig deeper to identify root causes when bugs are found.
• Work with databases and SQL; knowledge of Datawarehousing and stored procedures is desirable.

Job description

For this role you need to be interested in technical and exploratory testing and open to grow in other business areas. As a consultant with our clients, it's crucial that you are proactive and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

As a technical tester, you are comfortable and experienced in finding your place in both traditional project structures with a significant amount of waterfall methodology and in an agile initiative team. You have a strong ability to understand the overall picture, think end-to-end, and feel comfortable delving into both business issues and test data.

Your daily responsibilities will involve a blend of manual and automated testing using established tools such as Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, and Selenium. In manual testing, you should be experienced with both executing test cases and exploratory testing. In automation, while you may not have set up the framework, you should have professional experience and be proficient in tasks such as validation.

When you find a bug, you are not satisfied with only reporting but have also interest to dig below the surface to get closer to the cause of the error.

In terms of databases, you are proficient beyond basic SQL statements. Experience with Datawarehousing and/or Stored Procedures is also highly desirable.
