Job summary

Billerud seeks a Technical Service Manager for Liquid Packaging Board/Cartonboard to support global customers and work across Sales, Production, Product Management and Logistics. You will be the technical contact, drive root cause analyses and ensure excellent customer dialogue.

You will join a team located at multiple Swedish mills, with occasional travel. Strong English and Swedish communication skills are essential, as is a university degree in engineering or a related field.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or similar technical field.
• Documented experience from a technical, production or customer facing role within manufacturing or process industry.
• Ability to lead technical dialogues with customers in a structured and confident manner.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Managing technical customer issues related to liquid packaging board and cartonboard products, from initial dialogue to resolution
• Leading technical investigations, including root cause analysis and gap analysis
• Acting as the customer’s technical contact and coordinating internal expertise when needed
• Collaborating closely with Sales, Production, Product Management and Logistics
• Supporting claims handling and credit note processes
• Building strong customer relationships while setting clear expectations and professional boundaries
