Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Project Manager (CCTV & Networking) based in Sweden.

As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of CCTV and physical security technology projects from initial design and estimation through deployment and ongoing support. You’ll combine hands‑on technical expertise with strong project management skills to ensure systems are designed, quoted, and implemented accurately. Your responsibilities will span CCTV layouts, network integration, hardware selection, project scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication. You’ll work with clients, technicians, vendors, and internal teams to keep complex deployments on track. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals will be essential for configuring and troubleshooting reliable security systems. This is a fully remote, autonomous role offering the opportunity to manage impactful technology projects in a fast‑paced, service‑focused environment.

Accountabilities
  • Design detailed CCTV system layouts, including camera placement, coverage maps, system schematics, and configurations tailored to client requirements.
  • Manage CCTV and physical security projects end to end, from initial planning and design through deployment, completion, and support.
  • Establish project timelines, coordinate resources, monitor progress, and keep clients and stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply networking expertise to support reliable system deployments, including IP addressing, subnets, switches, routers, PoE, port forwarding, bandwidth, and storage considerations.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network-connected CCTV infrastructure, including NVR and DVR systems.
  • Prepare accurate project quotes, scopes of work, hardware bills of materials (BOMs), and cost estimates using relevant quoting and estimating tools.
  • Select appropriate cameras, networking equipment, recording hardware, and other system components based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with field technicians and vendor partners to coordinate installation activities and resolve technical or operational issues.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and project stakeholders through phone, video, and written channels, providing clear technical updates and support.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and use project management systems to track tasks, deadlines, resources, and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of CCTV, physical security, or related technology deployment projects.
  • Strong practical knowledge of network architecture and troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN environments, IP routing, subnets, PoE switching, port forwarding, bandwidth, and storage calculations.
  • Demonstrated ability to design CCTV layouts and determine suitable camera types, placements, configurations, and supporting hardware.
  • Experience with NVR/DVR systems and the integration of CCTV infrastructure with IP networks.
  • Hands‑on experience using project management platforms such as Asana, ClickUp, Jira, or Monday.com.
  • Familiarity with digital quoting, estimating, and bill‑of‑materials tools.
  • Experience using Dialpad or comparable VoIP and communication platforms for client and team interactions.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, technicians, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities independently.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical and project‑related issues.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote environment.
  • A reliable, quiet, and professional home‑office setup with stable high‑speed internet suitable for regular client and team calls.
Benefits
  • 100% remote: Work remotely from Poland as part of a globally distributed team.
  • Full‑time position: Take ownership of projects and contribute to the successful delivery of technology deployments.
  • Flexible schedule: Benefit from flexible working arrangements aligned with core client operating hours.
  • Global scope: Collaborate remotely with clients, technicians, vendors, and stakeholders across different locations.
