Job summary

Husqvarna Group in Huskvarna, Sweden, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead technically complex development projects from idea to serial production. You will ensure essential technical decisions, structure and quality throughout the development process.

Depending on background, you may join as an experienced manager or grow into the role with support from colleagues and established processes. The role combines technical depth with leadership across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or Mechatronics.
• At least 5 years of product development experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience in technical project management or leading roles in development projects.
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
• Experience in system architecture, battery-powered products, high-volume production, and global supplier networks is a strong merit.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing technical development projects with responsibility for scope, time, cost and quality.
• Ensuring robust technology and architecture decisions in line with product and market requirements.
• Driving requirements management, risk management and technical decision-making.
• Working closely with overall project managers, R&D line managers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Following up project results from both technical and financial perspectives.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of R&D processes and ways of working.
