Job summary

Husqvarna AB (publ) is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer for handheld battery-powered products. You will plan, set up, execute and analyze tests to ensure performance, functionality and quality before the user reaches them.

You will collaborate with design engineers and project teams, and may coordinate between technical specialists. The role includes field testing in Sweden and abroad when required.

Qualifications

• Institutional technical education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or electrical engineering.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Experience in testing and verification, lab environments, or product development is valuable.
• Curiosity, hands-on mindset and structured work style are important.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, functional and performance testing; develop and improve test methods.
• Verify and document technical performance across development phases.
• Collaborate with design engineers, project teams and other R&D functions as a coordinating link.
• Design fixtures and test rigs; analyze and report results.
• Participate in field testing in Sweden and internationally when needed.
• See products perform in real-life conditions beyond the lab.
