Husqvarna AB is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer for its Battery Product Lab in the R&D Handheld Battery Electric Products group. The role focuses on testing and verification of handheld battery-powered tools, coordinating with design engineers, project teams, and other R&D functions to ensure performance and quality.

Qualifications

• We are seeking candidates with a technical education in an engineering discipline.
• Fluency or strong proficiency in Swedish and English is desired.
• Hands-on testing and documentation skills are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical, functional, and performance testing of handheld, battery-powered products (grass trimmers, brushcutters, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws).
• Plan, set up, execute, and analyze tests; document results and ensure performance, functionality, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with design engineers, project teams, and R&D functions, coordinating between specialists and reporting findings.
• Design fixtures and test rigs; participate in field testing in Sweden and internationally as needed.
