Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a Technical Marketing Specialist for the Grid Automation & Communication unit. You will promote technical solutions for substation automation globally, translate technical needs into effective solutions, and shape customer specifications and value propositions.

The role involves pre-sales activities, collaboration with sales and engineering teams, and delivering training and presentations to end users to advance the sales process.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in electrical power systems.
• Proficiency in English is required; another language is a bonus.
• Proactive and goal oriented.
• Flexible, solution oriented, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work with pre-sales activities for bay level protection & control equipment as standalone products and in Substation Automation solutions.
• Engage with market, end-customers, and internal sales/technical teams to promote bay level products including pre-qualification/homologation.
• Provide training including content creation and certification for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct presentations with end users, face-to-face and online, to create demand through technical promotion.
• Uphold Hitachi Energy’s values of safety and integrity and comply with company policies and ethics.
• Ensure communication and implementation of policies across activities.
