Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in electrical engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Work with pre-sales activities of bay-level protection & control equipment as standalone products and integrated within substation automation system solutions.
• Engage with customers, internal sales and technical teams across markets, countries, and regions to promote Hitachi Energy’s bay-level products and solutions.
• Support product qualification and homologation of Hitachi Energy solutions.
• Create and deliver presentations to end-users both face-to-face and online to drive demand through technical promotion.
• Prepare training content and certify internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, adhering to company policies and business-ethics codes.

We are looking for a dedicated and business‑driven Technical Marketing Specialist to join the Grid Automation & Communication unit at Hitachi Energy. The role promotes technical solutions that solve customer challenges and contributes to the growth of Hitachi Energy substation automation business. The candidate will develop customer specifications, solution blueprints, proof‑of‑concepts, and product/value propositions in regions worldwide.

• Pro‑active, goal‑oriented, solution‑focused, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in English; additional language knowledge (e.g., Spanish, French, Swedish) is a benefit.
• Willingness to travel as required.
