Job summary

Westinghouse is seeking a senior Field Engineer for the Nordic Reactor Services team based in Västerås, Sweden. You will lead technical scope in commercial nuclear projects, provide tender support, and ensure rigorous documentation and risk management across Europe, Asia, and the US.

The role reports to the Manager Nordic Reactor Services Product and Projects and requires a Master’s in a technical field, extensive CAD/PDM experience, and fluency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in development- and delivery projects in a regulated environment.
• Master's degree in a technical field.
• Experience in mechanical design using 3D CAD and PDM tools.
• Driver's license.
• Very good English and Swedish language skills.

About The Role

Welcome to our Field Service Department, Nordic Reactor Services. We are approximately 60 employees who work with service and maintenance of nuclear fuel and systems in nuclear power plants. We provide services that are often carried out on site but also involve our deliveries of tools and equipment. Our customers are nuclear power plants in Europe, Asia, and US, with focus on Sweden and Finland. The projects have relatively short cycles, and the tasks and technologies often have a more practical than theoretical application. The services we provide typically include different specialized equipment with a need of maintenance and modifications and sometimes require new tailormade solutions. You will report to the Manager Nordic Reactor Services Product and Project. You will be located in Västerås Sweden, but you will visit our suppliers, customers and partners a few times per year.
