Job summary

MilDef is seeking a Tactical Purchaser to secure competitive sourcing solutions, build strong supplier partnerships, and ensure supply continuity in a growing defence-focused company.

You will lead sourcing projects, negotiate agreements, and drive performance reviews, data analysis, and continuous improvements across purchasing functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or sourcing of mechanics and/or cables, including supplier negotiations, risk analysis, and strong business mindset.
• Experience performing supplier evaluations, benchmarking, and data analysis in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in cost analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO), and spend analysis.
• Technical understanding including interpretation of technical drawings and specifications, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferably experience with procurement digitalization, cost modeling, Lean Six Sigma, or category management principles.
• Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

In a rapidly growing defence industry shaped by increased rearmament and operational demands, you will play a key role in driving sourcing activities, negotiations, and supplier performance that support both business growth and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities
