Job summary

PostNord is seeking a System Architect to join our Production Core, shaping the data streaming platform underpinning our next-generation logistics IT. You will contribute to a streaming, microservice–based cloud future, designing data models and governance with a focus on quality and scalability.

You will collaborate across business units, architects, and delivery teams to implement architecture principles, influence backlogs, and drive our tech transformation toward lean, efficient services.

Qualifications

• Experience with data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or Confluent.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures at enterprise scale.
• Experience with information models and data governance.
• Experience in transaction-intensive IT systems.
• Experience driving organizational tech transformations.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Strong integrity and analytical skills.
• Urge to understand and model business needs.
• Ability to balance functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the Data Streaming platform for long-term relevance with hands-on platform tech-stack.
• Develop the data model and ensure high data quality across domains.
