Job summary

Volvo Group's supplier development team is seeking a proactive professional to drive supplier development, quality and Lean initiatives across engineering and manufacturing sites. You will build strong supplier relationships and lead strategic purchasing activities, while mentoring teams to deliver cost, quality and delivery improvements.

You will coordinate cross-functional projects, work across multiple European locations, and help shape sustainable sourcing programs in a dynamic global

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or similar.
• Experience from quality/production area.
• Knowledge in supply chain management and Lean manufacturing.
• Educational or practical experience within sheet metal / plastics processes preferable.
• Good communication skills in English + local language.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with suppliers to create mutual benefits.
• Involve in evaluation and selection of suppliers and lead APQP/PPAP activities.
• Develop and execute Purchasing strategies and drive supplier development.
• Educate and mentor activities from cost to quality requirements and steer sustainability programs.
• Lead cross-functional projects, manage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement.
