Job summary

TOTEME, a Swedish fashion house based in Stockholm, is seeking a Studio Art Director to join full‑time. You will develop and maintain TOTEME's visual identity and own projects from concept through delivery, with hands‑on execution and leadership over e‑commerce and wholesale productions.

Collaborating with the Creative, Brand, Marketing, Production and E‑commerce teams, you will create layouts for lookbooks and brand materials, lead visual storytelling, and contribute to sustainability

Qualifications

• Experience as an Art Director, ideally in fashion.
• Strong portfolio showing direction across formats.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction for e‑commerce and wholesale production from concept to final delivery.
• Develop and maintain TOTEME's visual language aligned with the brand identity.
• Art‑direct visual content across digital channels, editorial, retail, and brand communications.
• Create layouts and graphic assets for lookbooks, presentations and other materials.
• Collaborate with the Creative, Brand, Marketing, Production and E‑commerce teams to ensure cohesive execution.
• Conduct visual research, build moodboards, and develop compelling visual narratives.
• Present concepts and executions to internal stakeholders.
• Stay informed about developments in fashion, art, photography, and design to bring fresh perspectives.
• Contribute to TOTEME's social and environmental sustainability strategy.

About TOTEME

TOTEME is a fashion house rooted in Swedish sensibilities, modern aspirations and the notion of style. With an appreciation for women’s many roles and how pieces are worn in practice, we create emblematic designs with an emphasis on materiality and shape. Representing a direct and decisive way of dressing, the collections are contextualized in curated edits, visuals and spaces.

TOTEME was founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman. From the atelier in Stockholm, we create collections spanning ready‑to‑wear, shoes, bags, accessories and jewelry.

The Role

TOTEME is looking for a Studio Art Director to join our team in Stockholm full‑time.

In this role, you will develop and maintain TOTEME's visual identity and take ownership of projects from concept through final delivery, balancing conceptual thinking with hands‑on execution. You will have significant ownership over e‑commerce and wholesale productions. Alongside art direction, the role also includes creating layouts and graphic assets for materials such as lookbooks, presentations, and other brand communication. You will report to the Studio Director and be a part of the Brand and Marketing team.

• Stay informed about developments in fashion, art, photography, and design to bring fresh creative perspectives to the team.
• Participate in and contribute to TOTEME's social and environmental sustainability strategy.

Your Profile

• Experience as an Art Director, ideally within the fashion industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing direction and execution across multiple formats.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent skills in visual research, moodboarding, and storytelling.
• High level of cultural awareness with an interest in art, fashion, and design — across stills and motion.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
