Academic Resource AB is seeking a Direct Sourcing Lead/Planner for a Life Science company based in Uppsala. This full-time consultancy role offers an initial 6-month assignment with potential for extension, starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring effective supplier partnerships. Candidates should have significant experience in direct procurement and strategic sourcing, particularly within regulated industries.

Qualifications

• 8-9 years of experience in direct procurement and strategic sourcing.
• Preferred experience in Life Sciences, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of sourcing strategies.
• Manage procurement lifecycle including RFQs and negotiations.
• Ensure buyer execution meets cost reduction and KPI targets.
