Job summary

HOCHTIEF is seeking a Procurement Manager to support the OL31 Project in Vagnhärad. You will lead procurement strategies, prequalifications, tendering, and contract awards, while managing budgets and supplier performance on a landmark Swedish rail infrastructure program.

Fluent English is required; Swedish or German language skills are advantageous. The role offers an international working environment and long-term project involvement within a leading global construction company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in procurement management in construction, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish procurement systems, supplier markets, and practices.
• Experience managing high-value procurement packages and strategic sourcing.
• Understanding of Swedish contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proven ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder project environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project procurement strategies, plans and procedures.
• Lead prequalification of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Lead tendering, supplier selection and contract award processes.
• Manage procurement schedules, budgets and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with Swedish procurement regulations, standards and procedures.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support commercial and project teams in contract negotiations.
• Identify procurement risks and implement mitigations.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supply chain performance.
