Job summary

Billerud Finland Oy in Solna, Sweden, is seeking an Allocation Manager to balance supply and demand over a 0–3 month horizon, align across Sales, Operations and Planning, and drive data-driven decisions.

You will optimize allocation volumes, monitor inventory, lead cross-functional forums, and identify risks while contributing to continuous improvement. The role offers development opportunities in a sustainability-focused packaging leader.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in demand, supply, or inventory planning.
• Experience with complex data analysis and forecasting.
• Cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Structured, data-driven, solution-oriented approach.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP systems experience, preferably SAP.
• Fluent in English; good understanding of Swedish.
• Experience with planning and BI tools such as OMP or QlikView is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a fact-based, short-term balance between supply and demand.
• Drive alignment across Sales, Operations and Planning.
• Prepare and quality-assure decision-making materials for KPI follow-up.
• Manage and optimise allocation volumes within a 0–3-month horizon.
• Monitor and balance inventory levels.
• Facilitate cross-functional forums for product mix and allocations.
• Identify risks, constraints, and bottlenecks; initiate actions.
• Challenge existing ways of working and contribute to process improvements.
