Job summary

Billerud is seeking an Allocation Manager to drive a data-driven balance of supply and demand across our planning, sales and operations teams. You will optimize allocation volumes within a 0–3 month horizon and lead cross-functional forums to improve planning processes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration across functions, and a proactive mindset to ensure operational stability and support commercial development. Location options include Swedish mills or Solna headquarters.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in demand, supply, or inventory planning.
• Experience with complex data, analysis, and forecasting.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Structured, data-driven, solution-oriented approach.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (preferably SAP).
• Fluent in English with good Swedish understanding.
• Experience with planning/BI tools (OMP or QlikView) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a fact-based, short-term balance between supply and demand.
• Drive alignment across Sales, Operations, and Planning.
• Prepare and validate decision-making materials and KPI input.
• Manage and optimize allocation volumes for 0–3 months.
• Monitor and balance inventory levels.
• Lead cross-functional forums for product mix and allocation decisions.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and drive improvements.
