Job summary

Billerud seeks an Allocation Manager to balance supply and demand in the short term and to drive data-driven decisions across Planning, Sales and Operations. You will influence production priorities, optimize allocations, and monitor inventories to support commercial development.

You will join a collaborative planning team and contribute to continuous improvements, with location options including several Swedish mills or Solna HQ. Fluent English and Swedish understanding are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in demand, supply, or inventory planning.
• Experience with complex data, analysis, and forecasting.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
• Structured, data-driven, and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (prefer SAP).
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with good Swedish understanding.
• Experience with planning/BI tools (OMP, QlikView/BI) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a fact-based, short-term balance between supply and demand.
• Drive alignment across Sales, Operations, and Planning.
• Prepare and quality-assure decision materials and KPI inputs.
• Manage and optimize allocation volumes within a 0–3 month horizon.
• Monitor and balance inventory levels.
• Lead cross-functional forums for product mix and allocation decisions.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions.
• Challenge existing processes and drive continuous improvement.
