Alvarez & Marsal in Stockholm seeks an Analyst to join our European Financial & Operational Restructuring practice. You will advise on distressed situations, evaluate options, and support C-suite executives with cash flow forecasting and financial modelling to stabilise performance.

Qualifications

0–2 years’ experience in Financial & Strategic Advisory (M&A, Restructuring, Due Diligence, Valuation).
Ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Fluent business level Swedish and English.
Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills.

Responsibilities

Advise companies, investors, lenders or other stakeholders facing distressed situations by assessing Financial & Operational performance relative to capital structure.
Evaluate restructuring options and advise on contingency planning for debt and/or equity transactions.
Assist C-suite management in identifying operational levers and implementing turnaround plans with cash flow forecasting and financial modelling.
Perform detailed financial analysis of business plans and cash flow projections to quantify risks and opportunities.
Develop trusted relationships with Nordic and European restructuring stakeholders through client engagement.
