Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal Stockholm is seeking an Analyst to join the Global Transaction Advisory Capital Markets Accounting Advisory (CMAA) team in Stockholm. You will work on financial reporting, transaction accounting, governance, risk management and internal control across capital markets projects.

The role offers hands-on client work, exposure to IPO preparations, spin-offs and complex transactions, with a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture and strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Law.
• Fluent business English is essential with additional Nordic language skills desirable.
• A flexible attitude and ability to prioritise tasks.
• A strong drive and willingness to be challenged.
• An analytical mindset and aptitude for numbers.

Responsibilities

• Join the Nordic CMAA team in Stockholm and contribute to financial due diligence and capital markets projects.
• Support projects across financial reporting, transaction accounting, governance, risk management and internal control.
• Gain exposure to IPO preparations, spin-offs and complex transactions.
• Collaborate with a multinational team across Europe and participate in client work.
• Develop analytical skills and commercial understanding through real client situations.
