Job summary

Avy, a B2B2C modular SaaS platform, is seeking an Engineering Manager in Stockholm to lead 5–10 engineers and drive technical clarity across Golang, Flutter, and Terraform. You will shape the platform with product and design, mentor teams, and scale architecture in a fast-growing prop-tech environment.

The role combines hands-on Go work with leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and a focus on scalable, cloud-based systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient with AI-assisted tools in day-to-day work.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• 8+ years experience in Software Development
• 5+ years experience in Golang or Java
• 2+ years experience with Frontend Technologies (React, Dart)
• 3+ years experience in technical leadership role
• Strong skills in Engineering Management and Team Leadership
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of system design and Software Integration in modern cloud-based architecture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5–10 engineers.
• Drive technical clarity, delivery quality and engineering excellence across the stack (Golang, Flutter, Terraform).
• Contribute hands-on to our Go Platform
• Own team-level technical strategy and ensure scalable, well-architected solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design in a cross-functional, product-led environment.
• Improve processes, grow team capabilities, and help the organization scale sustainably.
