Job summary

NCC is hiring a Steel Site Manager to take overall responsibility for site operations and production on a major northern Sweden project. You will lead the project toward schedule, cost, quality, and safety goals, coordinating with LKAB and other partners as needed.

The role emphasizes strategic site leadership, planning, and strong collaboration across stakeholders, with on-site presence in Gällivare and potential travel within Sweden. Fluency in English is required; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction, civil engineering, or large infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading site operations and construction teams.
• Strong expertise in steel structures and structural steel construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan site production activities.
• Ensure the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to required quality.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage production planning, weekly work plans, and material delivery flows.
• Monitor project finances, forecasts and performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
