• Production experience building systems with LLM or agentic capabilities.
• Strong communication skills across engineering, leadership and customers.

Staff Engineer, Platform and Agentic AI Infrastructure

I am hiring a Staff Engineer for a funded B2B software company with global enterprise customers. They are rebuilding their product as an agentic AI platform, where customers can use a single capability or the full platform.

You would be the technical anchor of this transformation, reporting directly to the CTO and shaping the architecture, engineering practices and technical direction for the platform.

What you will own

• Core platform architecture, building independent services that work together as one cohesive product
• Extensibility, enabling customers and partners to build on the platform
• Self-serve onboarding and reducing time to value
• Deciding where LLMs add value and where simpler, more efficient approaches are better
• Performance, scalability and reliability across the most complex parts of the system

How you will work

• 60% hands-on engineering, 40% technical leadership and customer collaboration
• Working across multiple teams, influencing without relying on formal authority
• Engaging directly with customers to shape technical decisions
• Building and shipping software through agent-driven development workflows, with engineers directing, reviewing and validating the work
