We’re looking for a curious, rigorous, problem‑hungry platform engineer (who codes!) to carry the ball as we bring Ashby to the big leagues. Ashby builds software that lets talent teams build an efficient, delightful, respectful hiring process. You’ll build the foundation that reliable, high‑performance engineering teams can trust.

About the Role

• Own end‑to‑end projects with minimal oversight, ensuring clean delivery and high customer impact.
• Scale and improve core infrastructure, such as our home‑grown recruiting DSL‑to‑SQL compiler, event‑driven architecture, and data warehouse.
• Create automated guardrails for security and privacy of customer data.
• Facilitate rapid feature delivery through canary deploys, gradual roll‑outs, feature flags, and robust monitoring.
• Define SLOs and implement corresponding SLIs, ensuring reliable external service communication with retries and circuit‑breakers.
• Enhance developer tooling and rapid on‑boarding to support a diverse, high‑performance engineering team.
