Job summary

Galderma in Uppsala, Sweden, is seeking an experienced Stability Scientist to join our Product Science team. You will design, manage and report stability studies to support shelf life and regulatory expectations.

You will collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Operations, interpret complex data, and translate findings into clear recommendations that safeguard product quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or equivalent degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biomedicine, Biology, Life Sciences or a related scientific field.
• Solid experience from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry.
• Hands-on experience designing, managing and evaluating stability studies.
• Good understanding of GxP requirements, pharmaceutical development and regulatory expectations.
• Experience writing scientific reports and regulatory documentation.
• Ability to interpret complex scientific data and translate findings into clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Professional proficiency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, execute and document stability studies for development and commercial products.
• Author study protocols, stability reports, scientific assessments and stability statements.
• Analyse data to support shelf-life assignments and product lifecycle decisions.
• Manage stability studies in LIMS and ensure documentation is compliant.
• Support regulatory submissions and responses to health authority questions.
• Contribute to deviation investigations, root cause analyses and CAPA.
• Provide stability expertise to cross-functional project teams.
• Stay informed of regulatory developments and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvements in stability processes.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders.
