Job summary

Rift Gaming seeks a senior C++ game developer to join our Stockholm operation, offering on-site work 2-3 days weekly with a hybrid setup. You will help top-tier studios create high-quality experiences across PC and console, addressing memory, performance, and multithreading challenges.

Work with Unreal or proprietary engines, contribute to networking and subsystem work, and collaborate with a passionate team in a supportive environment. Profit sharing and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game development experience.
• Strong C++ programming with memory management and performance focus.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in professional game development
• Strong C++ programming expertise, with solid understanding of memory management, performance optimisation, and multithreading
• Experience in unreal engine or proprietary engines
• Experience with networking systems
• General knowledge of subsystems (AI, input, physics, asset pipelines, etc.)
• Familiarity with performance profiling and debugging tools (Unreal Insights, PIX, Visual Studio Profiler, etc.).
• Experience developing and debugging for PC and console
• Comfortable with source control systems
• On-site in Stockholm 2-3 days a week

Nice-to-have

• Shader programming skills
• Have shipped at least one game
• Familiarities with backend programming or integration
