Job summary

A game development consultancy based in Sweden is looking for a professional with over 5 years of experience in game development. The ideal candidate should possess strong C++ programming skills along with experience in Unreal Engine and networking systems. Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game development experience.
• Strong understanding of memory management and performance optimisation.

• Experience developing and debugging for PC and console.
• Comfortable with source control systems.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in professional game development
• Strong C++ programming expertise, with solid understanding of memory management, performance optimisation, and multithreading
• Experience in unreal engine or proprietary engines
• Experience with networking systems
• General knowledge of subsystems (AI, input, physics, asset pipelines, etc.)
• Familiarity with performance profiling and debugging tools (Unreal Insights, PIX, Visual Studio Profiler, etc.).
• Experience developing and debugging for PC and console
• Comfortable with source control systems

Nice-to-have:

• Shader programming skills
• Have shipped at least one game
• Familiarities with backend programming or integration
