Job summary

Vistra Srl on behalf of our client is seeking an HSE freelancer for a project in Sweden at a steel plant site. The role focuses on ensuring contractors comply with safety plans and conducting audits and inspections.

English language proficiency is required; Italian language is a preferred skill. EU citizenship and ability to obtain A1 form for work in Sweden are necessary. Monday–Friday, with Saturday morning hours, for the project duration.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience on construction sites for industrial plants or similar projects.
• Fluent English language (written and spoken) is required.
• Italian language is considered a preferred requirement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors and subcontractors on site comply with safety plans.
• Execute auditing and inspection activities in the HSE/Safety area.

• Prepare reports and communicate results to the client’s site manager.

Job description

we are looking, on behalf of our client, for an HSE, freelancer, (able to issue an invoice), for a project in Sweden.

Type of site: steel plant

• ensures that contractors and subcontractors working on site comply with the safety plans
• Execution of auditing and inspection activities in the HSE/Safety area;
• Attendance at Toolbox Meetings with companies operating on site;
• Monitoring safety conditions and reporting any critical issues;
• Preparing reports and communicating the results of verification, inspection and supervision activities to the client’s site manager;
• Support for initiatives aimed at the continuous improvement of the site’s HSE performance.

Duration of the project: 31/01/2027

• Monday to Friday: 9 hours per day;
• Saturday: from approximately 08:00 to 13:00.

With regard to the required profile, we are seeking a person with several years of experience gained on construction sites for industrial plants or similar projects.

The candidate may be a citizen of an EU country and able to obtain form A1 for the work in order to work in Sweden.

Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required.

Knowledge of Italian is considered a preferred requirement; .
