Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Presales Team in Sweden. You will be a trusted advisor, crafting security and cloud solutions and guiding customers through pre-sales opportunities from discovery to POC.

Fluency in Swedish and English is required, with a background in technical pre-sales or customer-facing roles and strong knowledge of internet and cloud architectures. Hybrid work with on-site Stockholm presence is supported.

Qualifications

• Background in technical pre-sales engineering or customer-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of internet architectures, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with WAF, DDoS protection, Bot Management, and Zero Trust architectures.
• Excellent communication and storytelling for developers and C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales process and demonstrate Akamai solutions.
• Architect and execute high-impact demos, Customer Analysis Reports, and POC trials.
• Partner with sales and executive leadership to align customer initiatives with Akamai's platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to become a Subject Matter Expert and share insights via technical content and events.
• Deliver accurate architectures for complex web, security, and cloud deployment workflows.
