Job Overview

We invite you to join as a Software Engineer in the Digital Product Area Range Core – Food within Technology at Inter IKEA Group, located in Malmö, Sweden. The Role is an integral part of the Digital Product Area, where your contribution helps ensure an attractive, consistent, and efficient way of working for product development and our suppliers. You will help build a strong foundation for IKEA’s product information, enabling its seamless use across the entire value chain.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer you will design, develop and maintain scalable, event‑driven services using Spring Boot, Go or other modern frameworks. Your work will involve building RESTful APIs, managing cloud deployments on AWS or Azure, and optimizing data models in Postgres, MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server. You will collaborate closely with on‑shore and offshore teams, contributing to system design efforts, especially within the PLM ecosystem Optiva from Infor, while continuously improving the product delivery pipeline.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Java, with hands‑on development of RESTful services using Spring Boot or Go.
