Job summary

Lightbringer is hiring a product-minded software engineer in Malmö to bridge backend AI engineering with intuitive user experiences. You will own features end-to-end and collaborate closely with patent experts and fellow engineers to solve real-world challenges.

You will work on integrating AI agents and LLMs while building robust SaaS applications for tech founders and lawyers, with a focus on security, performance, and international expansion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building modern SaaS applications with a product-minded approach.

• Interest or experience with AI, prompts, or agentic workflows is a plus.

We’ve recently moved into a creative, historic space in Varvsstaden, Malmö, and we are looking for a product focused software engineer to help build the next generation of our AI-native platform.

The role

We are looking for a software engineer with a product mindset. Not someone who just translates tickets into code.

As a software engineer at Lightbringer, you will bridge the gap between complex backend AI engineering and beautiful, highly intuitive user experiences. You’ll take full ownership of your features, partnering closely with patent experts and your engineering colleagues to solve real-world challenges.

What you’ll do

• End-to-End Feature Ownership: Scope, build, test, and deploy features that make complex intellectual property management look simple.
• AI Integration: Work with state-of-the-art AI agents and LLMs to seamlessly integrate autonomous text-generation, data analysis, and automation into our core workspace.
• User-Centric Development: Build robust, highly responsive web applications that allow tech founders and lawyers to collaborate seamlessly.
• Maintain High Standards: Help optimize our platform for security (SOC 2 standard), performance, and scaling as we expand internationally into markets like the US.

• A Product-Minded Developer: You don’t just care about how to build, but why you are building it. You naturally think about the end-user experience.
• Startup DNA: You thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments. You are comfortable with ambiguity and eager to iterate quickly.
• Strong Full-Stack Skills: You have professional experience building modern SaaS applications.
• AI Curious: Experience or a deep interest in prompt engineering, LLMs, or agentic workflows is a massive plus.
• Location: Based in or willing to commute to our creative hub in Malmö.
