Job summary

GlobalLogic in Lund is seeking a talented test automation engineer to join our Connectivity team. You’ll develop automated test cases for in-car software in Linux environments and monitor test suites in real-world and simulated setups.

Role requires strong C++/Python, Linux toolchain experience, and English communication skills. Swedish driver’s license is mandatory for in-car testing; German or other languages are a plus in a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Proven experience in automated test development and frameworks.
• Extensive and documented understanding/knowledge in 3gpp specification and Network Simulators.
• Strong Linux skills and familiarity with Linux toolchain (bash, git, Gerrit, Jenkins).
• C++ and Python (PyTest).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Swedish driver’s license (B) – mandatory for in-car testing.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of a cross-functional agile scrum team.
• Develop automated test cases within existing frameworks in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment.
• Supervise and monitor execution of test suites and cases daily.
• Analyze logs from test objects (test rigs and cars).
• Run tests, user scenarios and reproduce errors and use-cases in both real and simulated environments, incl network simulators.
• Participate in agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and team health checks.
• Perform frequent software updates on test rigs.
• Conduct manual testing in rigs and test cars.
• Report progress and status regularly in JIRA.
