Job summary

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Qualitäts Assurance/Test Engineer to join a team focused on camera systems in automotive applications. The role involves executing automated and manual tests, developing test scripts, and ensuring quality across hardware and software components.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders, analyze results, and help drive defect resolution while maintaining thorough documentation and test plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ preferred.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and image processing.
• Experience 2–5 years in automotive or related industries is beneficial.
• Past client experience is preferred; specify duration and manager.

Description

Requirements

• Test Execution and Analysis (operational): Execute automated tests, as well as manual tests in different rigs and in vehicles, analyze results, and identify issues or defects in camera systems. Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies for various camera systems.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and defect reports. Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress and outcomes.
• Test Automation Development (strategic work): Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for camera systems to validate their functionality, performance, and integration. Participate also in building the camera systems test rigs
• Quality Assurance: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that camera systems meet all quality and safety standards. Participate in reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation.

Job responsibilities

• Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ is preferred. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools and familiarity with camera systems and image processing.
• Experience: Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated tests for complex systems, preferably in the automotive or related industries is beneficial (2-5 years).
• Past Client's experience is preferred, in which case please specify duration of assignment and assignment manager.
• Drive and Initiative: Proactive and driven personality, capable of taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, communicating effectively with engineers, stakeholders, and other team members.
• Driving License: Holding a European B driving license is mandatory.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable results.
