Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Software Buyer within the Connectivity Purchasing team to shape the future of software-driven transport. You will influence sourcing across application software, cybersecurity, and embedded software, working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver value.

Qualifications

Experience in sourcing, negotiations, contracts and supplier management.
Interest in, and preferably experience from, software, SaaS, cybersecurity, IT, embedded systems or digital services.
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A business mindset with the ability to balance value, risk and compliance.
A university degree in business, engineering, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead sourcing projects, supplier selection, commercial negotiations and contract implementation.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and collaborate closely with engineering, legal, quality and other key stakeholders.
Secure supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, technology, sustainability and risk.
