Job summary

Stegra in Boden, Northern Sweden, invites applications for a Social Sustainability Coordinator within our Sustainability & Environment team. You will build constructive relationships with the local community, plan and deliver engagement activities, and manage communications and feedback to help Stegra grow a socially responsible operation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with fluency in Swedish and English.
• Strong relationship-building abilities and a service-oriented mindset.
• Solid coordination and project-management skills, able to lead activities from planning through execution.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving and documentation skills, including digital scheduling, communication, reporting and feedback collection.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with the local community.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver community engagement activities with internal teams and external partners.
• Manage communication between Stegra and the local community, including responding to questions, feedback and concerns.
• Handle community grievances professionally and escalate sensitive matters when appropriate.
• Monitor, document and report on community-related activities, feedback and initiatives.
• Operate and maintain Stegra’s meeting place and lookout tower; open to the public one day per week from 13:00 to 17:00.
• Gather feedback, monitor participation and use outcomes to improve activities and experiences.
