Westinghouse Electric Company in Västerås is seeking a production planner to coordinate the detail plan for the factory and ensure on-time deliveries and lead times. The role covers a six-month horizon and requires collaboration with other planners to synchronize the overall production process.
You will report to the Supply planning manager and work onsite at Bränslegatan, Västerås, with responsibility for planning accuracy, progress reporting, and cross-department communication.
As a production planner you will coordinate the detail plan for our factory and ensure that we meet our deliveries and lead time. The production plan covers the next six months and you, together with other production planners, will ensure that you synchronize the production plan through the whole production process. A large part of planning is to ensure replenishment of material meet the planning. You will participate in weekly meetings to stay updated on the progress and if there is any part of the factory that is behind in the schedule you will follow up on this with relevant parties.
You will report to the Supply planning manager and be located at Bränslegatan, Västerås. You will work onsite.
It is meritorious if you have knowledge from planning systems such as SIMIO or Oracle. It is also meritorious if you have experience from construction, material planning, or have worked in a nuclear production.
