Strawberry is transforming hospitality technology and seeking a Service Owner for Electronic Lock systems. This expert contributor role will govern our access control ecosystem, ensuring secure, high-value operations across all hotel properties.

You'll own the electronic locking solutions, collaborate with internal teams and partners, and drive secure, efficient deployment aligned with business needs and future strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Deep technical knowledge of electronic lock platforms, mobile access technologies, and integrated hardware.
• Experience governing electronic lock infrastructure and vendor ecosystem with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Align access technology with the digital guest journey and cloud-first strategy.
• Identify opportunities and drive continuous service enhancements.
• Own lifecycle management and replacement of aging systems.
• Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, and SLA monitoring.

Are you an experienced technical specialist passionate about creating a seamless and secure technology experience?

We are seeking aService Owner Electronic Lockto drive, oversee, and govern the organization's utilization of our electronic lock systems and access control technologies. In this high-responsibility individual contributor role, you will ensure the service is optimized, secure, and aligned with future business needs. You will have full ownership over Strawberry’s electronic locking solutions, acting as the central expert and internal consultant for all access control systems and integrated hardware.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Innovation & Digital Guest Journey:

Align access technology and electronic lock solutions (e.g. mobile keys integration) with our digital guest journey and long-term cloud-first strategy.

Stay on top of hospitality technology trends and market developments to identify new opportunities and recommend continuous service enhancements.

System Lifecycle & Optimization:

Own, lead, and prioritize technical initiatives to replace aging systems based on lifecycle management, inventory, and end-of-life status.

Analyze system usage and drive optimization initiatives to ensure hardware and software deliver maximum efficiency and value to hotel operations.

Drive vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreement (SLA) monitoring to ensure performance matches contractual commitments.

Align technical initiatives with finance budgets and ensure optimal ROI on technology investments across all hotel properties.

Service Delivery & Operational Support:

Coordinate IT business support to ensure systems meet operational needs and exceed hotel expectations.

Serve as an advisor on major enterprise projects and act as the 3rd line escalation support for key operational systems (e.g., SOS).

Collaboration & Process Governance:

Work closely with hotels, internal technology teams, and external partners to ensure business requirements are clearly understood, implemented, and validated.

Establish and maintain standard processes and training programs for hotel staff and IT support to enable seamless adoption and operation.

What You Bring:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.

Technical Expertise:

Deep technical knowledge of electronic lock platforms, mobile access technologies, and integrated hardware solutions.

Advisory Skills:

You are comfortable acting as a central expert and internal advisor.

Security Mindset:

You are proactive about security, working closely with IT security teams
