Job summary

SANY Group seeks an experienced Service Engineer to strengthen its technical support and after-sales service operations in Sweden and the wider Nordic region. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair SANY cranes and excavators and provide direct assistance to customers while supporting dealers and service partners across the region.

You will install, commission, inspect, and maintain equipment, diagnose faults, and deliver on-site support, with travel across Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant field service experience servicing cranes, excavators, or heavy construction equipment.
• Experience with diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Sweden and Nordic countries.

Position Overview

SANY Group is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to strengthen its technical support and after-sales service operations in Sweden and the wider Nordic region.The successful candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair SANY cranes and excavators, providing direct assistance to customers while supporting authorized dealers and service partners across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, and repair of SANY cranes and excavators at customer sites and service facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults and implement effective technical solutions.
• Provide on-site technical support to construction equipment operators and customers across Sweden.
• Support SANY dealers and service partners in Sweden, Norway, and Finland with troubleshooting, repair guidance, and technical inquiries.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and warranty-related technical assessments.
• Coordinate with SANY's European service organization and engineering teams to resolve complex equipment issues.
• Assist with spare parts identification, technical documentation, and maintenance planning.
• Provide technical training and operational guidance to customers and dealer technicians.
• Prepare accurate service reports and maintain records of repairs and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and SANY service procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Vocational diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Heavy Equipment Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience servicing cranes, excavators, or comparable heavy construction machinery; more extensive experience is preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, diesel engines, electrical systems, and electronic diagnostics.
• Proven hands‑on experience in field service, technical troubleshooting, and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Previous experience with SANY, Volvo CE, Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu, Hitachi, or similar construction equipment manufacturers is advantageous.
• Professional working proficiency in English and fluency in Swedish are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, dealers, and international technical teams.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout Sweden and
