Qualifications

• Swedish language proficiency is required.

• No previous industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair SANY machinery at customer sites and workshops.
• Work across product lines including excavators, cranes, mining/off-highway trucks and other equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults with support from documentation and specialists.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Support machine commissioning, delivery inspections and technical checks.
• Document service activities, repairs and findings.
• Cooperate with local colleagues, dealers and SANY technical teams across Europe.
• Participate in technical and product training provided by SANY.
• Travel to customer sites within Sweden as required.
• Communicate with customers regarding machine condition and work performed.

About the Role

SANY Northern Europe is looking for a motivated Field Service Technician to join our growing service team in Sweden.

In this role, you will work with a broad range of SANY construction and heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, mining and off-highway trucks, and other machinery.

Previous experience with SANY products or heavy machinery is not required. We are open to candidates at the beginning of their careers who have a strong technical interest, enjoy hands‑on work, and are motivated to develop within the construction equipment industry.

You will receive product and technical training and work closely with experienced colleagues and SANY's technical support organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of SANY machinery at customer sites and workshops.
• Work across different SANY product lines, including excavators, cranes, mining/off‑highway trucks and other construction equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults with support from technical documentation and internal specialists.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Support machine commissioning, delivery inspections and technical checks.
• Communicate with customers regarding machine condition, service requirements and completed work.
• Document service activities, repairs and technical findings.
• Cooperate with local colleagues, dealers and SANY technical teams across Europe.

Requirements

• Fluent or professional working proficiency in Swedish.
• Able to communicate in English in a working environment.
• Strong technical interest and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working hands‑on with machinery and technical equipment.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations within Sweden.
• Responsible, service‑minded and able to work independently.
• No Previous Industry Experience Required
• Previous professional experience as a field technician or service engineer is not required.
• A background or education in areas such as automotive technology, mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics, industrial technology, agricultural machinery or similar is an advantage.
• Experience working with cars, trucks, construction machinery, agricultural equipment or other mechanical equipment – professionally or as a personal interest is also considered valuable.
