You will update the system with Yocto Poky releases, strengthen security in the build chain, and explore AI-powered automation to speed up tasks, testing, and reviews. Join a collaborative Platform Engineering team focused on quality.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Professional experience with Linux build systems.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle with CI focus.
• Extensive scripting experience with Python, Bash.
• Genuine interest in team dynamics and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Yocto-based build system for AXIS OS.
• Collaborate with AXIS OS developers to understand needs and pain points.
• Keep AXIS OS updated with Poky releases from Yocto.
• Improve cyber and supply chain security in the build process.
• Address reproducibility, caching, and packaging structure for 900 developers.
• Contribute to Yocto and other open-source projects using AI-powered tooling.
