Job summary

Autoliv is seeking a System & Electronics Lead for wearable airbag ECU development, overseeing architecture from definition to industrialization. You will own the system across generations, drive safety, power, connectivity, and ECUs, and collaborate with PM, hardware, and software teams in France and Sweden with regular travel.

The role requires an engineering degree and 4–6 years in embedded real-time systems, strong leadership, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics, embedded systems, mechatronics or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in embedded real-time systems.
• Proven background in system architecture, electronics leadership, and safety-critical products.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve ECU system architecture across generations.
• Lead electronics design choices and assess technical risks.
• Ensure safety, cybersecurity, cost, power, robustness and environmental constraints.
• Coordinate system and electronics design teams and reviews.
• Interface with PM, hardware/software teams, suppliers and validation.
