Job summary

Autoliv China in Göteborg is seeking a System Lead for a wearable airbag vest ECU, owning from architecture definition through industrialization and manufacturing release.

You will lead system & electronics design, drive safety-critical architecture, own the technical roadmap, and collaborate with hardware, software, validation, and industrialization teams across France, Sweden, and beyond. Travel several times a year is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics or related field required.
• 4-6 years' experience in embedded real-time systems.
• Proven background in system architecture, electronics leadership, and safety-critical products.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and evolve the ECU system architecture across generations (sensing, processing, power, safety interfaces, connectivity, updates)
• Lead and approve key electronics design choices (MCU/SoC, sensors, power architecture, connectivity modules, safety-critical circuits)
• Apply systems engineering methods and ensure alignment with safety and quality processes
• Lead or contribute to risk and safety analyses (DFMEA, PFMEA, hazard analysis)
• Ensure traceability from requirements to verification and validation
• Coordinate the system and electronics design team and interface with PM, hardware, software, manufacturing, and suppliers
