Job summary

Vynatix AB in Gothenburg is seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer who can take ideas from discovery through production-ready UI. You will work embedded with a client team, shaping experience in Figma and implementing UI in a modern front-end stack, or closely pairing with engineers.

You will own end-to-end UX, build design systems, run usability tests, and ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and cross-platform consistency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Expert in Figma with auto layout, components, variables, and prototyping.
• Hands-on implementation in web stack (React, TypeScript, CSS) or mobile (Jetpack Compose/Kotlin or SwiftUI).
• Experience building or maintaining a design system in production.
• Strong grasp of interaction design, typography, layout, motion and accessibility.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Based in Gothenburg, or ready to relocate (we support relocation).

Responsibilities

The role

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Engineer who covers the whole distance between a product idea and shipped, production-quality UI. You can run discovery, shape the experience, design it properly in Figma, and then build it in code (or pair closely with the engineers who do). You will work embedded in a client team in Gothenburg, with Vynatix behind you.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design and front-end engineering, with a portfolio of shipped products
• Expert in Figma: auto layout, components, variables and prototyping
• Hands-on implementation skills in at least one modern UI stack: web (React, TypeScript, CSS), Android (Jetpack Compose, Kotlin) or iOS (SwiftUI)
• Experience building or maintaining a design system in production
• Strong grasp of interaction design, typography, layout, motion and accessibility
• Comfortable presenting work to stakeholders and backing decisions with evidence
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Based in Gothenburg, or ready to relocate (we support relocation)

Nice to have

• Automotive HMI or in-vehicle UI experience (Android Automotive OS, infotainment, driver displays)
• Design-to-code tooling and token pipelines (Figma Variables, Style Dictionary, AI-assisted design workflows)
