Job summary

Qliro AB is seeking a Senior Tech Lead to own the technical direction of the Credit & Fraud team within the Pay Later platform. The role focuses on building scalable, production-grade .NET systems with strong observability and traceability, while navigating regulatory and compliance requirements.

The successful candidate will collaborate with product, risk, and other engineering teams, driving platform transformations and ensuring robust, compliant solutions as Qliro scales beyond the Nordics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical work in high-stakes environments such as credit, fraud, risk, or payments.
• Ability to operate in a heavily regulated environment and align engineering with compliance constraints.
• Adept at building production-grade, correct, observable systems with strong traceability.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of the team and write production-grade .NET on a regular basis.
• Make architectural decisions, drive performance and scale from the start, with observability and decision traceability as first-class concerns.
• Collaborate across product, risk, compliance and other engineering teams to align priorities and drive outcomes.
• Mentor engineers by sharing hard-won knowledge and asking the right questions to improve the team.
• Navigate regulatory constraints to ensure compliant, robust systems while moving fast.
