Job summary

A growing System Engineering and Solution Company in Stockholms län is seeking a Senior Software Tester to lead software test activities in global scrum teams. Candidates should have extensive experience in automation testing and a strong understanding of software development lifecycle. The position allows 4 days on-site and 1 day remote work, with an engagement period running from immediate to June 2026.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of work experience as a software test engineer or equivalent role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
• Experience from either software, hardware or system testing in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with medical/in-vitro-diagnostic equipment and associated software.
• Extensive experience with automation testing and tools.
• Ability to write automation Python scripts.
• Experience in Requirement analysis, Test Design, Test Execution, and Defect tracking.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB is desired.

Responsibilities

Role description

As a Senior Software Test engineer, you will mainly work with planning, performing and reporting software test activities during software product development.

Duties

• Work in global scrum teams to develop testing materials that ensure software products meet the specifications.
• Build and follow Test Plans, and Test Cases, establish pass/fail test criteria, document issues, and perform final verification of defect resolutions.
• Author test documents and status reports.
• Communicate status and issues to other functional teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluation and Acceptance of Requirements.
• Participate in project planning and progress tracking.
