Job Name: Senior Software Engineer – Python, Automation

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python development, GitHub automation, CI/CD enablement, and Azure-based data platforms. The primary focus of this assignment is to improve engineering productivity through automation, scalable workflows, and modern software engineering practices.

In this hands-on role, you will work closely with engineering and platform teams to build scalable automation solutions, improve developer productivity, and drive technical excellence across multiple projects.

About the Assignment

In this role, you will develop Python-based tooling and automation solutions, build and enhance GitHub-driven workflows and CI/CD pipelines, and help scale reusable engineering practices across multiple teams.

You will also support Azure-centered data platform initiatives involving technologies such as Databricks, Spark, and Kafka, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. As a senior engineer, you will play a key role in driving engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and efficient software delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• - Strong Python skills for automation, tooling, and production-oriented engineering work
• - Strong Git knowledge and experience with modern Python dependency and environment management, including uv
• - Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Workflows, and reusable workflow design
• - Practical Azure data platform experience, particularly within Azure Databricks, Spark, Kafka, schema enforcement, data quality checks, or Power BI
• - Solid Docker experience in day-to-day engineering workflows
• - Ability to work independently in a senior engineering role while collaborating effectively across teams
• - EU citizenship

Strongly Preferred

• - Experience with GitHub platform automation using gh, REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, or similar integrations
• - Practical Bash and/or PowerShell scripting skills
• - Experience with Sphinx, Sphinx-Needs, or other Docs-as-Code tooling
• - Experience with Git LFS, repository governance, and scalable engineering workflow design
• - Familiarity with self-hosted runners, GitHub Enterprise Server, and CI/CD troubleshooting in enterprise environments
• - Experience with artifact and package management platforms such as JFrog Artifactory
• - Experience using AI agent tools or agentic engineering workflows in software delivery

Nice to Have

• - Pulumi or similar Infrastructure-as-Code experience
• - Experience working within governance-focused, security-conscious, or regulated development environments
• - Working knowledge of C/C++, Conan, CMake, or related build tooling
• - Familiarity with ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, variant management, or static analysis tooling
