Job summary

Inter IKEA Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer—Front-End & Mobile to join the Sellable Range Offer Management team within IKEA Range Operations. Based in Malmö, you will develop and operate digital solutions that support product communication and price tag management across channels.

You will work closely with engineers, product teams and designers to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions. You will mentor peers, own technical discussions, and help shape the architecture and quality

Hej Senior Software Engineer- Front-End & Mobile,

Inter IKEA Group connects IKEA franchisees with range development and suppliers and ensures alignment of the overall IKEA strategic direction. Every day, we strive to develop, produce, and sell products and services that are affordable and accessible to everyone.

This role is positioned in Core Business Range, Range Operations (IITSAB), Technology. You will belong to the Sellable Range Offerteam, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager. You will be a part of IKEA's Price Tag Management domain, enabling the management and distribution of product and pricing information across digital and physical touchpoints.

The team is based in Malmö. We believe that your presence with the team and working the majority of the time in the workplace is important.Please note the roles requirestraveling toÄlmhultonce a week.

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play an important role in a team that develops and operates digital solutions supporting IKEA's product communication and price tag management across channels. These platforms ensure that accurate, consistent product and pricing information reaches both co-workers and customers worldwide.

You will work closely with other engineers and product teams to design, build, and continuously improve scalable and high-performing solutions that enable efficient product information flows and support global retail operations. Through your technical expertise and curiosity, you'll help create reliable systems that balance business needs with quality and performance.

As a senior member of the team, you will also take technical ownership, support colleagues through mentoring and knowledge sharing, and help guide technical discussions and decisions. You are expected to identify opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to evolving the team’s architecture, engineering practices and technical quality.

Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to evolving engineering practices, standards and ways of working, ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable and future-proof across the domain. You will challenge existing solutions when needed and help turn technical improvements into concrete actions and outcomes.
