Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT development, implementation, or consulting.
• 8+ years architecting security controls across IAM, network security, data protection/encryption, and threat detection.
• Experience advising on security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR).
• Experience designing security strategy and controls for cloud adoption at enterprise scale.
• Experience working with IT and Security leadership to articulate security/compliance strategies.
• Strong verbal and written communication across stakeholders.
• 8+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics).

Responsibilities

• Design customer security solutions for AWS deployments.
• Collaborate with AWS teams to architect securely leveraging AWS services.
• Define engagement strategies with account managers, professional services, and partners.
• Provide security thought leadership through publications and training.
• Lead critical projects, ensuring customer success in building and migrating apps on AWS.
• Assist providers with technical and business strategy definitions.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within AWS solution architect community.
• Understand AWS market segments and industry verticals.
